What role will you play?
You will lead end-to-end delivery of a new model risk management system and related services, defining architecture, setting technical direction, and shipping production grade software. You will work closely with risk, front office, technology, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable, auditable systems. You will own the full software delivery lifecycle (requirements, development, testing, deployment, and production support), extend and add features to our internal platforms, and make high leverage choices on patterns, data models, integration, security, and cloud usage. Your focus is to replace manual processes with robust, self‐service capabilities and APIs, ensuring the system is built to fit stakeholder needs and delivers measurable control and risk outcomes.
What You Offer
* Principal level software engineer with a strong track record delivering complex, business‐critical systems
* Ownership across the SDLC and ability to drive implementation with high standards
* Polyglot backend development skills, and the ability to quickly learn programming languages such as, but not limited to Python, Scala, Java, or C/C++
* Cloud experience with containerised services, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, identity/secrets, and telemetry
* Experience building solutions for risk/control users or adjacent domains; product mindset and high accountability
* Collaborative, systematic problem solver with the ability to set architecture and direct the tech stack
* Strong stakeholder leadership and clear communication skills and experience, delivering complex solutions across multiple teams
* Background as a Software Engineer in front office, regulatory, or financial services is valuable
