The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Change Management Consultant to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide expert and timely advice to the Senior Director Transformation Delivery, executive, senior management and other stakeholders on strategic change plans and innovative change management approaches
- Lead teams in the design and delivery of change management approaches for large-scale and complex initiatives
- Develop, implement, and maintain tools to capture, assess, monitor, and report on change management impacts, risks and outcomes at the project, program, and portfolio level
- Build the capacity and self-sustaining capability of our staff, our community, and others through skill development, coaching and mentoring
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- Significant experience in the healthcare sector, consulting on complex change initiatives that involve human behaviour and/or team culture change would be well regarded
- Whilst not mandatory, a relevant degree or tertiary level qualifications in management or behavioural science would be well regarded
- Whilst not mandatory, qualifications in Training and Assessment and formal training in change management and project management would be well regarded
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Temporary full time (12 months with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $135 456 - $143 329 per annum

The Strategy, Transformation and Major Capital division has been established to define, design, enhance delivery and sustainability of our most significant service improvement, digital and transformation opportunities.
Our high-level responsibilities for the division are for corporate strategy and planning and oversight and management of strategic partnerships, service improvement, digital transformation, digital operations, digital assets, digital partnerships, portfolio/program/project management including major capital/infrastructure programs, clinical coding, service disruption, service redesign.
Transformation Deliveryadvises and oversees the design, delivery, transition and sustainability of transformational activities and digital projects. The following services are provided:
- P3 management: Supporting the governance of the portfolio, programs, and projects - selection, prioritisation, pre-implementation testing, monitoring, assurance and reporting.
- Building capability: Strategic advice on transformation and change, advice to Executive Sponsors, communities of practice, training on program/project/change methodologies.
- Transformation initiatives: Allocating resources to directly support the delivery of major business change.
- Digital projects: Allocating resources to directly support the delivery of ICT/digital change.
