Job Description Summary
Communications Technician – Field member will form part of the Field Delivery Team working as part of a team or as an individual contributor at times.
About the Role
* Job Title: Communications Technician - Civil
* Reporting To: State Field Delivery Manager
Communications Technician – Field member will form part of the Field Delivery Team working as part of a team or as an individual contributor at times.
Build, Maintain and Decommission Telecommunication Networks, including but not limited to Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco Authorities and Power Utility.
The Field Delivery Team will work across multiple work types and clients, reporting into the State Field Delivery Manager.
About you:
Qualifications – Desirable and Essential:
* Hold a current driver's License
* Hold HR or higher Truck Licence
* Construction OH&S Induction Card
Experience –Desirable and Essential
* Experience in an Infrastructure Services environment
Technical
* Ability to interpret construction plans & documents
* Good communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Be able to complete pit & pipe installs
* Duct/conduit repairs
* Pipe proving
* Cable hauling
* Concrete cutting
* Concrete restorations (footpath panels & pit surrounds)
* Plant operator
* Confined space entry
* Use of power tools & hand tools
