The Role
This is a 12-month contract to cover parental leave with the opportunity to step into the role that blends strategy and hands‐on delivery across TasWater's digital ecosystem.
You'll play a key role in shaping how we engage with our community online — from developing content strategies to optimising platforms and strengthening our online reputation.
Working across teams, you'll help ensure our digital channels deliver clear, consistent and engaging experiences, while using insights and data to guide decisions and improve outcomes.
In this role, you will:
* Lead the development and delivery of TasWater's digital content marketing strategy across paid and organic channels.
* Plan, create and manage engaging content across platforms including website, social media and campaigns.
* Monitor and respond to customer interactions online, managing sentiment and building a positive community presence.
* Optimise digital platforms and tools (e.g. website, social channels, analytics tools) to enhance performance, consistency and user experience.
* Analyse data and translate insights into practical recommendations that improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
* Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align digital activity with broader campaigns and business priorities.
* Manage and coordinate external suppliers or contractors to deliver high-quality digital outcomes.
* Balance competing priorities and respond to reactive requests across the business.

* A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
* Experience working with external agencies, suppliers or contractors (desirable).

The Details
This role will be based in Hobart and attracts a salary range of $168,000 - $198,800 per annum (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
Please note this role is a Fixed Term contract until 23rd August 2027.
