LPE's Meter Reading role
We're inviting field-based Meter Readers to join our Billing Operations team on a casual basis in Sunshine Coast.
This is the perfect opportunity for people looking for flexible casual hours offered between 7am and 5pm, across Monday to Friday. We are looking for applicants who can work 3+ days per week. LPE will tailor our rostering to suit your availability, please list your times and days of availability in your application.
The focus for our Meter Readers is to provide accurate and timely meter reads from various embedded network sites across Sunshine Coast, travelling by car from site to site. Vehicle mileage reimbursements applicable as per ATO guidelines.
Whilst support from our Billing and Customer Support teams is just a phone call away, this is a field-based, autonomous role where you will be working alone throughout the day.
Key Accountabilities
Reporting to the Billing Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for:
1. Read Data and Collaboration
* Access site meters, often liaising with onsite managers to sign in and obtain access keys
* Accurately read meters and complete data entry into an app using a handheld device
* Record photos of meters where required
* Perform meter reconnections and disconnections, working closely with the Customer Support team on customer account status

* You are confident and enjoy working autonomously with little face to face contact with your immediate team mates
* You deliver exceptional customer service when dealing with owners, customers and site managers
* You have a valid QLD driver license and your own vehicle
