Private Nanny for Toddler

We are an active, busy and close-knit family on the Sunshine Coast.
We're looking for a warm, professional and educated nanny to join our household on a permanent, full-time basis.
Mum and Dad both hold senior, corporate positions however we are very present in our children's lives due to our ability to work from home. We are searching for a talented individual to integrate with our family; someone who is happy to parent with us and adopt our rhythms.
Location: Southern end of the Sunshine Coast, 4575
Schedule:
· Four or four and a half days per week to be negotiated
· 9 or 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
· + ad hoc evenings when mum or dad is traveling for work
Pay: $32-$39/hr – dependent on qualifications and experience
Start Date: any time between 1 May and 1 June 2026; we are flexible for the right candidate. The primary focus is identifying a long term fit for our family.
Training: 2-4 weeks in a part time capacity (shadowing, integrating, learning the family rhythms, building trust, establishing a connection)
Family Car: provided
· must have a valid license, insurance, clean record and recent experience driving children

This role is more than just transactional childcare. We are looking for someone who can bring their expertise to create fun, engaging and educational experiences that help our children grow, learn and thrive.
We are actively seeking an energetic, intentional and holistic individual. Our family is active, outdoorsy and nature obsessed so you must enjoy the great outdoors! This is an active role and non-sedentary in nature. We're after physical energy and emotional warmth.
About the Role
· Full time position
· Start Date: any time between 1 May – 1 June 2026
· Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences (arts & crafts, sensory play, music, literacy and numeracy activities, outdoor play, indoor learning, etc.)
· Encourage social skills, creativity and confidence through both structured and free play
· Assist with daily routines — meals, changing nappies, toilet training, naps, education and general care
· Light household tasks (tidying, dishes, laundry, etc.)
· Light meal prep
· Driving to/from activities keeping the children safe
· Daily outings in nature regardless of weather
Requirements: (please only apply if you possess the following)
· Australian citizen or Permanent Resident or New Zealand citizen
· 2+ recent years as a private nanny looking after children aged 2-5
· Bachelor's Degree preferred, Certificate III or Diploma in addition to experience is acceptable
· First aid, CPR, national police check etc; all certifications up to date
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
· Clean driver's license, car, insurance
