We’re seeking a dynamic and skilled Business Development Manager to join our National Walls, Ceilings & Toilet Partitioning team. If you’re passionate about the building industry and eager to drive sales and develop relationships for our innovative products, this role is your chance to shine!As a Business Development Manager at Laminex, you’ll play a crucial role in developing new business and maintaining specifications in projects throughout WA & SA. You’ll identify market demand and execute sales strategies to enhance our presence and growth.What You’ll Be Doing:Engaging with key stake holders on a wide range of projects.Proactively target Wall, Ceiling & Partitioning opportunities assisting with specifications that are created through consultative selling and understanding the customers’ requirements.Building rapport and trust within the industry, networking at industry events and exhibitions whilst positioning yourself as a trusted advisorMonitoring specification through to the transactional execution of the saleWork alongside internal stake holders to ensure the optimum level of service is provided to clients.Conducting professional portfolio presentations to key stake holders that showcase Laminex’s capabilities to the audience.Provide Laminex product & brand expertise and education, and the ability to adapt our offering to the differing needs & drivers of individual stakeholder businesses.Effective communication & activity around New Product Development (NPD) launches and any relevant insights or trends.What You’ll Bring to the Table:If you are motivated, have a strong desire to learn, and have a keen attitude, you might be the perfect person for our team.You will ideally have:A high level of autonomy and self-management skills to achieve KPI targets.Experience with consultative and conceptual selling to building professionals.Demonstrated ability to identify clients’ needs.Enthusiasm and exceptional communication skills to bring to this position coupled with the ability to prioritise customer needs and value manage projects throughout the end-to-end sales process.The ability to think strategically and can look for growth opportunities.The ability to build rapport and relationships quickly.A team player and collaborative attitudeHigh level of computer literacy using computer systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, salesforce.com, and PowerPoint to enter data, process, and present information.Sales or BDM experienceAbility to travelAn existing strong network of building professionals is advantageous.Extensive knowledge of the building industry expertise is advantageous.Ready to Start Your Next Chapter?
