About the Role: As a Demi Chef, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen by preparing high‑quality food in a safe, hygienic, and timely manner. You'll play a key role in upholding the culinary standards of the hotel while supporting the broader vision of creating extraordinary experiences. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present high‑quality dishes in a timely manner
* Support the Chef de Partie with daily kitchen operations
* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards
* Minimise food wastage and manage resources efficiently
* Assist in training junior staff and uphold team professionalism
* Step in for the Chef de Partie when required
* Follow hotel policies, procedures, and WH&S guidelines
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment
* Strong culinary skills across multiple disciplines (e.g., cooking, baking, butchery)
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively
* Commitment to hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
* Leadership potential with a collaborative and supportive attitude
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for learning and professional growth
