You will provide best practice survey services to the site, whilst ensuring statutory compliance and maintaining standard for the surveying aspects of the annual technical services plan.This role will see you responsible for:Lead and supervise the surveying team onsite as the registered mine surveyorProvide survey set out, pickup, reconciliation and reporting servicesEngage and collaborate with technical services personnel and production crewsProvision of design compliance plans on a weekly basis or as requiredProvide built surfaces using Maptek scanners, Leica GPS, and Drone surveys, weekly or as requiredMaintain the Coal Mine Workings Plan for annual submission Qualifications:To be successful in this role you will have surveying experience, preferably in the mining industry, and a desire to continue to develop professionally. Your attributes will include:Tertiary qualifications in Surveying or Spatial ScienceUnderground Coal (UC) endorsed Registered Mine Surveyor or willingness to obtain endorsementMine Surveying experience within an Underground coal mining operationPrevious exposure to Leica instrumentation, Trimble GPS, AutoCAD, and Compnet is desirableAbility to understand functionality of business systems and provide relevant data for business purposesAn ability to manage and influence stakeholders
