Job Summary:
As a Delivery Driver at Fruitique Wholesale, you will be a vital part of our operations, responsible for ensuring that our fresh produce reaches our customers in a timely and safe manner. You will deliver a variety of food items while providing outstanding service and representing our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently deliver food products to hospitality venues in the Sydney Metro Area.
* Ability to work from approx. 4am to 1pm Monday to Saturday
* Verify the accuracy of orders and quality of products before departure from the warehouse.
* Maintain accurate documentation.
* Communicate effectively with our customer service team regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
* Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
* Assist with loading and unloading products as necessary.
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Qualifications:
* Valid Australian driver's license and clean driving record.
* Previous experience in delivery or driving, preferably in the food service industry.
* Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns in Alexandria and surrounding areas.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 25kg).
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
