Dorsal by the Sea in Forster-Tuncurry offers a vibrant and diverse dining menu that celebrates modern Australian cuisine with global influences. We are looking for full time Chefs to join our kitchen Team
Duties and responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking food as per restaurant menu
* Planning menu items
* Estimate food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Ensure quality and presentation of all foods
* Training and developing kitchen staff
* Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment
* Discussing food preparation issues with senior management
* Implement, explain and enforcing hygiene regulations & secure Workplace
* Select and train staff
* Freeze and preserve foods
Qualifications and Experience
* Must have AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management
* Must have experience worked as Chef minimum 1 year
