This is a vacancy for a Fixed Term or Permanent appointment for 76 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

We are currently seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our team.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, this role plans, delivers, coordinates, and evaluates social work services for consumers in the Mental Health specialty, using advanced clinical skills grounded in recovery‐oriented and trauma‐informed practice. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining consumer safety and ensuring the quality of care through ongoing planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Senior Social Worker also provides supervision to Social Work staff and supports staff within the unit or clinical area, coordinating their duties and managing performance. As a Senior Social Worker, the practitioner ensures that all work aligns with the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards, the Code of Ethics, and SMHS policies and guidelines.

* A copy of your current CV
* A statement addressing the selection criteria 2, 3, 4 and 6 (as below) in no more than 2-3 pages
* Demonstrated extensive relevant clinical experience and knowledge and advanced skills in appropriate assessment, treatment and evaluation within the Social Work specialty area of Mental Health
* Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate Social Work services including application of quality improvement principles and practices.
* Demonstrated high level time management, administrative and organisation skills when planning, providing and monitoring Social Work services
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting
* The names and contact details of two (2) current referees who can attest to your suitability for this role.
