Your new company
A high-profile Federal Government department is seeking experienced finance professionals to support strategic financial management and executive-level reporting. You'll be joining a dynamic team that plays a key role in shaping financial outcomes across the organisation.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will:
* Deliver financial advice, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Lead the annual budget build and monthly phasings.
* Support mid-year budget reviews and reallocation of funds.
* Prepare monthly management reports for senior executives.
* Contribute to executive board financial reporting.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and auditors.
* Assist with month-end processes including journals and prepayments.

What you'll need to succeed
* Strong experience in management accounting, ideally within government.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to deliver strategic insights and drive financial value.
* Familiarity with financial systems and reporting frameworks.
* Active NV1 or NV2 security clearance.
What you'll get in return
* Competitive hourly rate: $94-$115/hr + Super.
