Job Title: Clinical Skills Educator
We are seeking a highly skilled educator to join our team as a Clinical Skills Educator. This role will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality teaching within our South Australia Rural Medical (SARM) Program, based at our Mount Gambier campus.
About the Role
* Design, deliver, and continuously improve clinical skills and communication teaching within the SARM Program
* Coordinate topics and courses, ensuring curriculum innovation, inclusivity, and alignment with accreditation standards
* Provide academic support, mentoring, and professional advice to students, fostering engagement and success
* Contribute to educational leadership through best-practice teaching, team-based learning, and technology-enhanced approaches
About You
You are an experienced medical educator with a passion for clinical skills and communication teaching. You bring leadership in curriculum design, innovative teaching methods, and a commitment to student success in rural health education.
* Hold a PhD, EdD, or equivalent qualification in medical education (or related field)
* Demonstrated excellence in teaching clinical skills and communication, with experience coordinating topics and courses
* Skilled in active learning approaches, simulation, and technology-enhanced teaching to improve outcomes
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary academic and clinical teams
