ACE Materials Handling Pty Ltd is an Australian owned engineering and materials handling company that has been operating since 1991 with branches in Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Gladstone, Brendale, Canberra, Gold Coast, Darwin, Cairns, Victoria, Regional NSW, Townsville & Wollongong.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer oriented Mechanical Service Technician to join our Ipswich team, in a full-time capacity, primarily working at Amberley supporting our Defence client works however, working at other locations as required. On-the-job training is provided to help the right candidate hit the ground running, with tailored training provided if this role sees you embarking in a new environment with your Mechanical trade skills and experience.
You will be responsible for the delivery of inspection, maintenance, service, repair services and breakdown assistance to our customer. This role will see the technician completing inspections, maintenance & repairs on overhead cranes, vehicle hoists, docking systems, hangar doors, mobile machinery and a broad range of other materials handling equipment.

To succeed in this position the ideal candidate will be able to work independently, with great communication skills and meet the following criteria;
* Hold a Cert III - Mechanical Trade or relevant mechanical experience in the industry
* White card (or ability to obtain)
* Current Driver's License
* The ability to problem solve with strong diagnostic skills
* Great customer focus and skills
* Excellent time management
* Positive attitude and approach to challenges
The following qualifications/experience would be desirable for this role however, not essential and will be organised and funded for the successful candidate as required for their role:
* Restricted Electrical
* CPR/LVR and/or First Aid Certificate
* EWP License
* Working at Heights Certificate
* Industrial site experience
