Description
* Provide expert legal advice on regulatory and compliance matters
* Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts
* Assist in managing legal risks and ensuring adherence to legislative requirements
* Support investigations and prepare legal briefs for enforcement actions
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal issues
* Represent the organisation in legal proceedings or at external forums, as required
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks
* Provide training and guidance on legal and compliance matters to internal teams
A Successful Senior Solicitor Should Have
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law and admitted to practice as an Australian Lawyer
* Proven experience in providing high‑quality legal advice within a regulated environment
* Strong criminal law knowledge with significant prosecution and advocacy experience
* Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
