Olex Civil is a well-established civil contractor delivering infrastructure projects across roads, earthworks, drainage, and utilities. With a strong pipeline of work across regional NSW and Victoria, we are seeking an experiencedProject Managerto lead project delivery and drive commercial outcomes.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects from award through to completion
* Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource plans
* Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and performance
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and environmental standards
* Monitor project financial performance including cost control, forecasts, and variations
* Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities
* Lead and mentor project engineers and site teams
* Prepare monthly project reports and progress claims
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
* 7–10+ years experience in civil construction
* Proven experience managing projects valued $1m–$10m+
* Strong knowledge of contracts (AS4000, AS2124, AS4902)
* Experience delivering projects such as:
* Roads & bridges
* Bulk earthworks
* Drainage and utilities
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent commercial and contract administration capability
