This is a 12-month Fixed Term Part Time position commencing 2nd February 2026.

The Royal Melbourne is a major hospital providing comprehensive health services, including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services. It is part of the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, collaborating on research to improve clinical care.
Unit Description
The Cardiology Department is a leading tertiary and quaternary referral centre, specializing in adult congenital cardiac services, arrhythmia, interventional cardiology, and cardiac genetics. It is affiliated with the University of Melbourne and closely collaborates with the cardiac surgery unit.
About The Role
The role involves managing a large adult congenital cardiac service, including advanced diagnostics and interventions, and a congenital cardiac pregnancy service with the Royal Women's Hospital.
About You
* Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration
* MBBS or equivalent
* Successful completion of FRACP Basic Training (Part 1)
* Completion of 3 years Cardiology Advanced Trainee
