This role will be based at the Urbis Angel Place office located at Level 8/123 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000.This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in both statutory and strategic urban planning to deliver valuable insights on land use, development potential, due diligence, master planning, and the approval process. Your technical knowledge and professional approach will play a key role in building strong relationships with clients, driving project success, and fostering long-term partnerships.You will:Provide a range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, the approval process and management;Draft submissions, proposals and advice for government and private clients;Respond quickly and communicate in a clear, concise and transparent manner to internal and external clients;Provide input into draft proposals, tenders and submissions for projects;Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives and Planning's Business Plan;Work alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to specification, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome;Prepare weekly timesheets and input to monthly accounts;Stay abreast of changes to building and zoning codes, regulations and other legal issues, required to provide advice relating to land use.About You:Tertiary qualifications in Regional and Urban/Town Planning or a related discipline.Minimum 2-3 years experience in statutory or strategic planning required, ideally gained in a consultancy or local government environment.The salary range for this role is from $81,562.25 package ($73,150 base salary) - $95,000 package ($85,201.80 base salary).Applications are open from Friday 11 April 2025 and will close on Monday 12 May 2025.Why Urbis?Urbis is committed to fostering a work environment that is inclusive, supports flexibility, and welcomes diversity.
