Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
* Clinical Care: Providing high-quality medical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
* Wound Management: Managing and dressing wounds, preventing infections, and promoting proper wound healing.
* Health Care Planning: Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
* Assessment and Documentation: Conducting thorough health assessments, maintaining accurate medical records, and documenting changes in residents' health conditions on eCase.
* Pain Management: Addressing pain concerns and implementing pain management strategies.
* Emergency Response: Being prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinating the response as necessary.
* End-of-Life Care: Providing comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
Skills and Experience
* AHPRA Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Aged Care Knowledge: Understanding of Aged Care accreditation standards.
* Adaptability: Passionate, willing to learn, and adaptable to changing situations.
* Teamwork: Collaborative and skilled at working effectively within a team environment.
* Communication: Friendly and effective communication abilities.
