Key Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Generate daily and weekly production reports to meet performance targets and identify areas for improvement.
* Provide technical expertise, training, and mentoring to team members.
* Analyse past production data, compare it to budgeted specifications, and suggest improvement options.
* Ensure concentrate quality meets contract and target specifications.
* Maintain, monitor, and improve process control systems such as Citect and PowerBI.
* Conduct plant surveys and mass balances to maintain and improve plant efficiency.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a degree-qualified Metallurgy or chemical engineering professional with experience in heavy media separation and flotation. You will have a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements and a desire to take on various responsibilities in a collaborative environment.
Required Skills:
* Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering degree
* Heavy media separation and flotation experience
* Process improvement skills
* Technical knowledge of Citect and PowerBI
* Collaborative team player
This is a permanent position with an 8/6 roster.
