Reporting to the Newcastle Site Services Manager and based at our Newcastle Wire Mill in Mayfield, the Industrial Facilities Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable and cost‐effective management of key assets such as buildings, roads, rail infrastructure, cranes and utilities.
What you will be doing
* Manage a team of planners, schedulers and trades personnel to deliver preventative, corrective and improvement works safely and efficiently.
* Oversee contractor and vendor performance across services including cleaning, waste management, grounds maintenance, rail infrastructure and other site services.
* Develop, manage and monitor maintenance and facilities budgets, ensuring expenditure is controlled and aligned to business objectives.
* Review maintenance requests, prioritise work activities and ensure resources are effectively allocated to meet operational requirements.
* Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements, including contractor management.
* Build strong relationships with internal customers, site tenants and service providers, responding proactively to issues.

What you will bring
* Experience within a heavy industrial, manufacturing, mining or related environment (trade qualifications highly regarded).
* Self‐motivated and proactive approach with the confidence to address issues, drive accountability and influence outcomes.
* Experience or transferable skills in coordinating contractors, service providers and maintenance activities across a complex operational site.
* Experience or transferable skills in managing budgets, processing invoices and monitoring contractor spend and performance.
* SAP or CMMS experience, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
* Knowledge of rail infrastructure, cranes or industrial facilities management would be advantageous but is not essential.
