We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer for a Federal Government department. This role can be worked remotely anywhere in Australia.
This is an initial 12 month contract with 3 x 12 month extension options. Our client is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to work in a close-knit agile team and provide technical leadership.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated high-level experience and solid knowledge in data analysis, data migration, problem solving and ETL development, including designing, building, testing and deployment of data workflows.
- Demonstrated experience with the following technologies:
- AWS Aurora and SQL
- Informatica IDMC
- Informatica Powercenter
- Workflow migration from Powercenter to IDMC Elasticsearch/Opensearch
Ideal Experience:
- Experience in the following areas:
- AWS Glue and Sagemaker
- Oracle RDBMS and Azure Dataverse Data load/migration projects including data profiling and data quality analysis
