We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy Service Department in Mackay – the gateway to the beautiful Whitsundays.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our service customers, you will play a key role in delivering a professional and positive customer experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of our Service Department.
Key Responsibilities
* Greeting customers and assisting with service enquiries
* Booking vehicles in for servicing and repairs
* Preparing repair orders and maintaining accurate records
* Liaising with technicians and workshop staff regarding vehicle progress
* Providing customers with updates, quotations, and recommendations
* Coordinating vehicle handovers and explaining completed work
* Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism
* Assisting the Service Team to ensure smooth daily operations
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and passionate about customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Essential Skills & Attributes
* Previous Service Advisor or automotive industry experience (preferred but not essential).
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident computer and administration skills
* Current driver’s licence
* Professional presentation and a positive attitude
* Ability to work well independently and within a team
