Tresillian is pleased to offer this exciting opportunity for an experienced Child and Family Health CN/MS2 to join the Tresillian team in Broken Hill.
If there is insufficient experience in Child and Family Health, Tresillian will consider candidates with experience in related nursing fields (e.g. midwifery, paediatrics etc). The successful candidate will be intensively supported to meet the criteria of CN/MS2 over time by the Operational Nurse Manager Regional, Dubbo based NUM, the Regional Nurse Educator, CNC Child and Family Health and CNC Perinatal and Infant Mental Health.
The CN/MS2 will be pivotal to the provision of a Level 2 specialist child and family health response for families experiencing early parenting challenges, vulnerabilities and often complex needs. They will possess strong contemporary child and family health nursing skills and have the capacity to work autonomously and within a team.
This position will be involved in the provision of quality child and family health services to families caring for children 0-3 years of age within a Tresillian service.

Selection Criteria: 1) Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with completion of a relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years' experience working in the specialty field of Child and Family Health or experience working in related field, including midwifery or paediatrics. 2) Demonstrated clinical leadership with proven ability to exercise sound judgment and provide leadership in professional standards, ethics and a commitment to research and innovation. 3) Commitment to actively contribute to own and the health care team's professional development and to act as a resource person and mentor to others within your speciality. Demonstrated ability to exercise professional knowledge and judgement in providing complex care requirements of clients in the specialist field of Child and Family Health Nursing, including ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making capabilities. 4) Experience in or understanding of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. 5) Demonstrated ability to collaborate across the service system network with a range of stakeholders inclusive of referral processes, care coordination, case management and service promotion. 6) Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical services and manage change. 7) Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills, organisational skills, interpersonal, consultation and negotiation skills and proficiency in use and understanding of relevant computer software. 8) Current Driver's License Class C.
