Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our dynamic team.
Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 per annum
Role: Full time
Location: North Kellyville, NSW
Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications for bricklaying work.
Laying bricks accurately and ensuring structural stability.
Repairing and maintaining existing brickwork and structures.
Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications to determine materials, layout, and dimensions.
Laying bricks in rows, designs, and patterns using mortar and ensuring alignment, accuracy, and structural stability.
Spreading and preparing mortar using trowels and ensuring proper bonding and alignment.
Measuring and cutting bricks to size using hand and power tools for accurate fitting.
Repairing and replacing damaged brickwork and maintaining existing structures.
Sealing foundations and spreading mortar layers to serve as bases for bricklaying work.
Checking vertical and horizontal alignment during construction to maintain precision.
Erecting and dismantling restricted-height scaffolding and following all site safety procedures.
Ensuring work complies with Australian Standards, building codes, and site safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
Applicants with relevant qualification preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in bricklaying work.
Strong understanding of building plans, materials, and bricklaying techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
White Card and valid Australian Driver's Licence required.
Australian citizens/permanent residents preferred.
