Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department, including the preparation of monthly management reports, managing expenditure and budget achievement, and mentoring sales consultants.

Key Responsibilities

* To identify and prospect new retail customers from within our primary marketing area

* Understand the customer's objectives, buying criteria, and decision-making processes

* Build rapport and form long-term business relationships

* Lead and undertake all aspects of the sales process, from prospect to delivery, and assist less experienced sales consultants

* Promote a subset of company products and services ensuring successful introductions to Car Care and Finance & Insurance
">
* Attend various business and industry events/meetings as required

* Drive growth through innovative sales strategies and strong customer relationships

* Maintain a daily focus on business performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction

* Champion a culture where NPS and customer loyalty are as important as sales results

* Collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless customer journey

* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Previous automotive sales management experience is essential, with demonstrated leadership skills within a retail environment

* Sound administrative and organisational skills sufficient to oversee administrative aspects of the Department

* Exceptional communication skills

* Sound computer skills and a proven ability to maximise output from available databases

* Highly professional approach, together with a proven strong work ethic

* Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate sales personnel to ensure the achievement of targets

* Strong track record of smashing sales goals and motivating teams to success

* Commitment to exceptional customer experiences and improving NPS outcomes

* Manual Driver's License (Motor Salesperson/Dealer License preferred)
