Wagga Podiatry Plus is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to support our podiatrists in delivering high quality patient care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a clinical environment, is organised, and has an interest in podiatry or broader allied health fields.
You will work within a purpose built clinic alongside a team of podiatrists, providing both clinical and administrative support. Training will be provided, and there is scope for progression for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist podiatrists with non clinical aspects of patient care
* Prepare treatment rooms and organise clinical equipment
* Support orthotic workflows including scanning, preparation, and manufacturing processes
* Assist with basic gait analysis setup and data preparation
* Maintain infection control standards including sterilisation processes
* Manage clinical stock, consumables and equipment organisation
* Support patients with footwear fitting and basic education under supervision
* Provide administrative support such as appointment preparation, documentation, and data entry

Essential Qualifications and Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification
* or Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Health Services Assistance or similar
* or current enrolment in a health related degree (for example podiatry, physiotherapy, exercise physiology or nursing)
* Current First Aid and CPR
* Understanding of infection control principles
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Reliable, organised and comfortable working within a clinical environment
* National Police Check (post interview)

* Experience working in private practice, aged care or a health care setting
* Interest in biomechanics, foot health and podiatry
* Confidence using technology and clinical software
* Understanding of orthotics or gait analysis (training provided)
