Green Light are assisting in delivering projects for an industry leading organisation and have a rare and immediate requirement for a talented Senior Project Manager (virtualised solutions) .
The Project Manager (virtualised solutions) will have experience with a large enterprise organisation providing project managing services across the Migration, deployment, re-distribution, utilisation of virtualisation projects. The Project Manager will be experienced through the project management life cycle from initial inception and planning, right the way through the implementation and delivery.

Responsibilities
* Primary responsibilty for this role is the project management and delivery of large enterprise implementations in virtualisation environments.
* The role will be focused on customer supplier relationship - overseeing system changes. Project managing the agreed integration and legacy system change criteria and requirements based on systems identified and timelines.
* Working with Functional teams, legacy/existing system owners and their technical architects to ensure timelines for delivery of solutions are understood and any issues /risk documented and actioned/escalated.
* Project managing and supporting the existing business systems owners in liaising with third party Vendors. Ensure that approval gateways are defined and met in the delivery plan for any change.
* Act as liaison between the project coordination and senior PMO, build rapport and trust while continually delivering.
* Consulting and providing support to stakeholder management and project team, focusing on service functionality, service implementation and handover into operational environment.
* Establish and maintain a project plan in conjunction with the existing business system owners to track and monitor delivery progress for agreed changes. Agree reporting profile with existing business teams to include resource profile, costs and milestone achievement status. Provide reports on status and progress as required.
Requirements
* The Project Manager must have strong vertical in managing projects specifically with virtualised environments, specifically VMWare platform
* Familiar with a variety of project delivery techniques - such as Prince2 / PMPBOK / Agile and Waterfall processes, and System development lifecycles.
* An in-depth understanding of VMWare solutions as a Project Manager.
* Excellent client facing experience and relationship management experience.
* Experience delivering into government agencies is highly regarded.
