HealthShare NSW is seeking a motivated and proactive Revenue Officer, Patient Billing to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing for patients across NSW Health, contributing to the delivery of efficient, high-quality services that support patient care.
What you’ll be doingAs a Revenue Officer, you’ll be responsible for:Generating invoices accurately and on time, in line with service agreements, policies, and legislation.Acting as the first point of contact for patients, carers, and health entities, providing professional and compassionate customer service.Supporting billing operations through administration, quality control, and audit readiness.Collaborating with your team to identify and implement process improvements that enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.Contributing to a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within Patient Billing Shared Services.
What we’re looking forWe want someone who thrives in a busy environment, has strong attention to detail, and can balance competing priorities with professionalism. You’ll bring:Experience working in finance, billing, or administration (healthcare experience highly regarded).Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with patients and stakeholders with empathy and discretion.Proven ability to follow procedures while exercising sound judgment in sensitive situations.A commitment to delivering quality outcomes and meeting key performance indicators.
