About the role
As a Residential Window Fabricator at City Glass Tasmania, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality custom windows for residential properties across Tasmania. This full-time position is located in Moonah, TAS 7009, and offers the opportunity to work for a well-established and respected company in the building trades industry.
What you'll be doing
* Fabricating residential windows to precise specifications and measurements
* Operating machinery and tools to cut, shape, and assemble window components
* Ensuring strict quality control and adherence to safety protocols
* Collaborating with the sales and installation teams to deliver exceptional customer service
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a window fabricator or in a similar manufacturing role
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as window fabrication machinery
* Experience with frame assembly machinery and equipment
* Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role
