Quality and Compliance Officer (Audit and Policy Development)

Are you driven by the challenge of creating processes that ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement? As our Quality and Compliance Officer, you'll develop policies that work, conduct audits that identify real opportunities, and implement systems that enhance both operational efficiency and client outcomes. Your analytical expertise will directly strengthen our quality management framework and regulatory compliance.

At Murray Mallee Aged Care Group (MMACG), we understand that effective quality systems require systematic thinking, attention to detail, and a person-centered approach. Based in our Adelaide office, you'll oversee our compliance framework, ensuring all policies, procedures, and practices meet regulatory standards while supporting operational excellence for our community's seniors.

Your Responsibilities as a Quality and Compliance Officer Will Include:

Internal Auditing: Plan and conduct comprehensive audits across all operational areas, identifying compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.

Policy Development: Create and maintain our suite of organisational policies and procedures that ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

Data Analysis: Analyze audit findings and compliance metrics to provide evidence-based recommendations for management.

Continuous Improvement: Lead systematic improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance: Monitor legislative changes and ensure organisational currency with aged care and disability services requirements.

Documentation Management: Maintain audit tools, compliance records, and reporting systems in accordance with regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For:

Demonstrated experience in policy development and/or internal auditing.

Understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement methods.

Understanding the aged care regulatory and legislative landscape or experience in a similar sector (preferred).

Current SA Driver's License and reliable vehicle.

National Police Certificate and COVID vaccinations.

Relevant tertiary qualification in quality management, business administration, health administration, or a related field will be highly regarded.
