The Opportunity
Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash Health is seeking a passionate Research Officer to support maternal and foetal medicine research and clinical trials within a collaborative Midwifery Research Team. The role coordinates participant recruitment, trial visits and data collection while working closely with researchers, patients and clinical stakeholders to deliver high‐quality research.
The role contributes across all stages of clinical research, including participant engagement, sample collection, data analysis and clinical trial planning. Responsibilities include vascular assessments, processing maternal blood and placental tissue samples, supporting ethics applications and working closely with researchers and participating sites to provide protocol guidance, research support and study coordination.
Qualifications
We are seeking a motivated and organised professional with qualifications in Nursing, Midwifery or a related field, along with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife. The successful candidate will bring clinical research and/or midwifery experience, strong organisational and problem‐solving skills and a sound understanding of research ethics and clinical protocols within a collaborative research environment.
