We are looking for a Project Engineer to assist with managing and monitoring the completion of projects to ensure budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved.
Duties include:
* Assisting with preparation of schedules, cost estimates, and project baselines
* Skilled in schedule control, and cost control by utilising Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques
* Liaising with clients and suppliers
* Coordination of various activities
* Assisting with the procurement management by providing the required standards and specifications for the manufacturers and the suppliers
* Monitoring and reporting on project progress against timelines and budget
* Providing guidance on the project risks and opportunities
* Supervising the fabrication process
* Coordinate the preparation of documentation as required including the Quality Plan, Safety Plan, Environmental Plan, Inspection & Test Plan etc
* Attend Risk Assessment meetings, HAZOPs, Failure Mode Effect Analysis(FEMA), Safety Integrity Level (SIL) etc
* Assisting with Factory assembly, testing, and commissioning across Australia and New Zealand
* Occasional site visits across Australia and New Zealand
About you
* Degree in Project Management or Engineering
* Experience in bespoke project management software packages
* Experience with construction works supervision, relevant Australian and New Zealand regulations, and standards
* Able to prioritise tasks and meet set deadlines
* Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Available to travel across Australia and New Zealand
