Experienced Painting Trades Worker required
Gruber Painting Pty Ltd is a well-established company located in South Australia. We specialize in Retail and Commercial mid-high-end projects.
We are seeking a well experienced Painting Trades Worker who has the following attributes. You must also be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be responsible. You need to be willing to work in either a team environment or in an autonomous position depending on project requirements.
There is also the possibility of an apprenticeship for the right candidate(s).
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

The Roles
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Erect scaffolding and ladders safely, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering.
· Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, and applying primers.
· Select and prepare paints to required colours by mixing pigments, oils, thinners, and drying additives.
· Apply paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
· Hang wallpaper, ensuring pattern matching and trimming edges neatly.
· Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
· May repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames as required.
The position(s) Require(s)
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.
§ Trade qualification (AQF Certificate III or Higher)
§ Minimum 1 year of relevant painting experience
§ Ability to read plans
§ Reliable & hard-working team player
§ Willing to take directions from project manager
§ Use logic and reasoning to solve problems
§ Paramount attention to detail
