We are seeking a Full Time, Ongoing English Teacher to join our school community to commence in March/April 2026.

* Classification: T1 to T2 range depending on qualifications - $79,589 to $118,063 CEMEA 2022

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver quality and effective teaching and learning programmes consistent with the Australian Professional standards for teachers, the College Learning and Teaching Charter, College course outlines, curriculum policies, work programmes and educational trends.
* Support students through interaction with them in a variety of settings and through the active development of supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices.
* Be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
* Have a commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic Identity.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and values. This role requires planning and delivering teaching programmes consistent with the Australian Professional standards and the College Charter. Experience in managing diverse learning environments and fostering student wellbeing is also essential.
Additional Information
In 2025, a diocesan-first, comprehensive and exciting new learning and teaching programme – Magnify Sandhurst – was launched across over 50 Catholic schools in the Sandhurst Diocese. It will be introduced across 2025 to 2027, with each phase designed to bring measurable improvements in each learning environment. The programme focuses on strengthening core areas such as literacy and numeracy, building supportive classroom environments, and integrating Catholic values in daily learning.
