Glassons Carindale or Garden City is looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the store's performance and supporting the Store Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This is a full‐time position.
What you'll be doing
* Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating the retail team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
* Provide hands‐on support in all areas of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and staff scheduling
* Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a positive brand experience for all customers
* Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and implement strategies to drive sales and enhance store performance
* Assist with the training and development of store team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
* Ensure the store maintains high standards of presentation, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management or assistant management role, preferably within the fashion industry
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience
* Proficient in inventory management, visual merchandising, and store operations
* Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills
* A proactive and adaptable approach to work, able to thrive in a fast‐paced retail environment
