Senior Health and Safety Professional
We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Professional to join our team in driving improvements in health and safety performance during project delivery.
The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to project managers and teams, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace environment that adheres to company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
* Manage all project staff to prevent accidents and occupational disease or injury and protect the environment.
* Coordinate investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses to ensure corrective actions address root causes.
* Implement, review, and improve UGL's Corporate HSSE management system.
* Cultivate a positive HSE culture through coaching and facilitation.
* Monitor and interpret relevant HSSE legislation, policies, and regulations.
* Assess safety in design requirements for major projects.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an HSEQ Manager position, preferably within the construction industry.
* Degree or diploma qualified in an occupational safety and health related discipline.
* Excellent knowledge of OH&S, Environment, and Workers Compensation legislation within Western Australia.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement safety management systems.
* Thorough knowledge of AS 4801, ISO 9001/14001, ISO 31000.
* Cert IV in Training & Assessment (desirable).
