Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painting Trades Worker to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
* Erect scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering.
* Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces.
* Select and prepare paints to required colors by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
* Apply paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays.
* Hang wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges.
* Clean equipment and work areas.
The successful applicant must have the following qualifications and experience:
Required Qualification: Relevant qualification in painting trades or related field.
Minimum 2 Years Experience: As a Painting Trades Worker.
Communication and Technical Skills: Good communication and technical skills are essential for this role.
