Job Description
As a home care worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes. This may involve assisting with daily living activities such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
You will also provide social support and transportation to clients, enabling them to participate in activities and maintain their independence.
Other responsibilities may include:
* Assisting clients with the use of aids such as walking frames and wheelchairs
* Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
* Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to clients
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian Federal Police Clearance
* Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
* Smartphone with internet access
