Through the sale of donated clothing, accessories, and homewares, Branch Shops help raise essential funds that contribute directly to Red Cross programs and services. The program provides valuable opportunities for work experience, allowing participants to develop practical skills in customer service, retail operations, teamwork, and community engagement. The opportunity The Branch Shop provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on work experience in a real retail and community environment. Participants develop practical skills in customer service, communication, teamwork, and time management while learning how a community‑based shop operates. Working alongside volunteers and customers also helps you to understand the importance of positive engagement, responsibility, and community service. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the world’s largest humanitarian network.
