 
        
        Queensland Fire Department is seeking a Training Supervisor to lead the Volunteer Training Delivery function. The role will be responsible for managing the coordination, delivery, and facilitation of advanced and specialized training programs and train-the-trainer courses.
The successful applicant will have a high level understanding of contemporary training methodologies and registered training organisations requirements. A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or accredited tertiary qualification in adult education would be highly regarded.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
 * Leading the development of the volunteer training strategy to operationalise the Rural Fire Development Framework and associated training packages.
 * Providing guidance and advice to support Managers Operational Training in the Districts to undertake their training needs assessment and their development of annual training plans.
 * Managing the coordination, delivery, and facilitation of train-the-trainer courses to ensure appropriate training delivery capability is enhanced in Areas and Districts.
 * Developing strong working relationships with Managers Operational Training in the Districts to advocate and promote volunteer training.
 * Maintaining currency of knowledge of interstate, national and international strategic issues, policies, benchmarks, and initiatives relevant to delivery of volunteer training.
The role is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of $160,716.24 - $163,127.10 per annum. The closing date for applications is Midnight 16 October 2025.
