Responsibilities
Provide quality maintenance service by utilising plant, including small plant (brush cutters, hedge trimmers, edgers, etc.) in an efficient, effective and safe manner
Ensure the implementation of Council's asset maintenance policy and related procedures and documentation
Undertake other horticultural maintenance and construction tasks as required
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience and skills in operating horticultural related large and small plant such as backhoes, tractors, slashers, 'whipper snippers', chainsaws, edgers
Demonstrated ability to work constructively in a multi-disciplinary team
Experience in undertaking other horticultural related tasks with minimal supervision or unsupervised
Demonstrated understanding and ability to manage workplace safety when undertaking horticultural related activities
Class MR Drivers Licence (or ability to obtain)
We Would Also Love You To Have
AQF 3 Chemical Handling accreditation
Experience with the maintenance of cemeteries

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from
$59,561
to
$69,219
.
