The UGL New Energy Team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer- Civil to work on upcoming Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Western Australia (WA). This position is site-based FIFO/DIDO in Western Australia. n RoleThis role focuses on projects with earthworks, in-ground services and civil structures. The primary challenge is to ensure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements with the client. n Your duties and responsibilities - Planning and conducting professional engineering work without direct supervision - Consult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areas - Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities - Control and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, equipment suppliers and subcontractors - Assist in the preparation of forecasts and the constructability of projects Your skills and experience - Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in Civil / Structural or equivalent - Substantial experience in Civil / Structural Engineering of energy/utilities projects - Valid Driver's License - Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook - Strong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels About UGLUGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services.
