Vita First Aid management is driving change by creating standards that can't be compromised. Our team of professional first responders have medical training in paramedicine and nursing, with many bringing additional skill sets from roles at events such as security teams, sound and lighting personnel or traffic management services catering staff.
We will ensure your event requirements are managed to mitigate risk by engaging all stakeholders, including patrons who might be affected by an emergency situation on-site at their location.
* Key Requirements:
* Minimum of one year's state ambulance service experience.
* Experience in similar roles as practice nurse or community-based nursing.
* Background or training in emergency nursing or occupational health nursing highly beneficial.
The Registered Paramedic is responsible for the smooth and efficient functioning of the practice and provides an exceptional standard of care to our patients. Clinical Responsibilities
* Perform clinical duties within required level of clinical competency, according to best available evidence.
* Explain position and procedures to patients, ensuring consent, providing them with support and reassurance.
* Duties include triage, immunisations and other injections; wound management, chronic disease management, health assessments for target group of individuals, ECG's, spirometry and collection of pathology samples.
Patient Services
* Assist with triage, data management, diagnostic services, networking with other providers, planning & management of patient care and patient advocacy.
* Telephone patients with test results only as directed by general practitioners.
