The Role
The role of an Allied Health Assistant at My Word Health is to outwork speech pathology, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy programs with a paediatric caseload. You will work closely with the Allied Health Professional to assist families in meeting their goals. We care about connecting people to their world through communication and are committed to providing high quality services.
Casual position (6-23 hours per week) - after school availability is a must.
If you have...
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance OR are currently studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Physiotherapy or other health-related university degree
* Current Working With Children Check (NSW & VIC)
* Valid National Police Check
* Current Drivers Licence and reliable car
* NDIS mandatory worker training certificate
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Demonstrated ability to follow plans and work well with a team
* Professional, warm and empathetic approach to clients
