About the role
At SA Power Networks, our Powerline Workers play a vital role in delivering safe and reliable electricity to communities across South Australia. Guided by experienced leaders, you’ll be responsible for the construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution systems. Above all, you’ll work as part of a safety-first team, ensuring the wellbeing of our people, the public, and the network we operate.
We have multiple positions available across our beautiful state; from Angaston to Yorketown including Adelaide Metro.

About you
- Certificate III in ESI – Distribution Powerline or equivalent
- Electrical Workers Licence
- A minimum of 2 years’ post trade working experience (Preferred)

These roles offer a starting base wage of $101,494 plus additional allowances. Our pay grade and classification information can be found in the 'Utilities Management Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2024' - available online.

Key Responsibilities
Our responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the safety and reliability of the network;
- Extending and upgrading the network to meet growth and expansion;
- Maintaining street lighting for councils and government; and
- Undertaking meter data collection for retailers.
