The Opportunity Reporting into the Coordinator Growth Area Planning & Subdivision, you will: Lead the end-to-end assessment and coordination of major housing estate subdivisions and commercial development applications for two Precinct Structure Plans; Drouin and Warragul. Prepare high-quality reports. Provide expert planning advice to Council and developer stakeholders Represent Council at VCAT. Negotiate and mediate complex planning matters across teams and developers to achieve practical outcomes. Contribute to strategic planning initiatives outlined in Precinct Structure Plans. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to planning staff. What You’ll Bring Strong statutory planning expertise and knowledge of the Victorian Planning Provisions. Experience managing complex planning applications. Confidence in negotiation, mediation and stakeholder engagement. Proven ability to lead, mentor and influence others. Exceptional report writing and communication skills. Sound judgement and decision-making capability. A commitment to continuous improvement and high-level customer service.
