About the role
* Assisting the Centre Director in managing day-to-day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.
* Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.
* Inspire, motivate, guide and support Educators to progress the Service's excellence in practice in partnership with the Leadership team.
* Support Educators to assess each child's learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework and other contemporary theories.
* Support educator's to critically reflect on each child's learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice.
* Assist and develop clear goals for Educators regarding the efficiency of the educational program.
* Ensure that the service complies with best practices, including curriculum development, staff professional development, administrative procedures and cooperating with families and the community.
* Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day operations.
* Create a balance with well above the required non-contact time to complete your role.
* Upholding consistent high-quality standards for center presentation and work practices.
* Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.
About you
* Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.
* Must have 1 experience as a Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
* Current blue card, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications.
* Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Development Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Showcase the ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.
* Express willingness to facilitate and coordinate ongoing professional development training for educators.
* Demonstrate the ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
