Position:
Senior Associate, Bridges
We're partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to find an experienced bridge engineer ready to take the next step in their career. This role offers the chance to lead technically complex projects, mentor junior staff, and work on a variety of high-profile infrastructure initiatives for private, government, and contractor clients.
Your Role:
* Lead the design and delivery of bridge projects from concept to construction and maintenance.
* Take ownership of project management, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality targets are consistently achieved.
* Support and guide engineers and graduates, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
* Provide clear and practical engineering advice during construction, liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to enhance project outcomes and drive business development initiatives.
* Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the team, promoting efficient and technically sound solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry peers, and internal teams to strengthen collaboration and reputation.
What You Bring:
* Chartered Engineer with 10-15 years' experience in bridge engineering across diverse projects.
* Strong technical proficiency with a track record of leading design and/or project delivery.
* Leadership and mentoring skills with experience supporting the development of engineers and graduates.
* Business-minded approach with the ability to manage budgets, resources, and client relationships effectively.
* Exceptional communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering solutions that are innovative, cost-effective, and of the highest standard.
